Compress to Target KB · What it does
"Compress an image under 100KB" is a high-volume query—civil-service exams, teacher certification, social-security uploads all cap size. Generic tools make you guess with a slider; this tool takes the target KB and binary-searches encoding parameters locally to find the highest quality just under it. Nothing is uploaded—safe for sensitive documents.

FAQ
Can it hit exactly 100KB?
It finds the highest quality not exceeding the target, usually slightly under (e.g. 99.6KB) so any validator passes.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP; PNG→JPG drops size a lot and the page notes the format change.
What if it can't reach the target?
For extreme targets (e.g. 10KB) also reduce dimensions; the tool prompts when downscaling is required.
