Change DPI · What it does
DPI is the dot density per inch when printing. Many submission systems and printers require 300 DPI, but ordinary tools resample and degrade quality. This tool rewrites header density only: JPG sets JFIF density and EXIF resolution, PNG sets the pHYs chunk—zero pixel bytes change, ready to download.

FAQ
Does changing DPI enlarge the file?
No—file size barely changes; print size changes with DPI.
Why does my image show 96 DPI?
96 is the Windows screen default; this tool can rewrite it to any target.
